What readers are saying:

This is an incredible collection of novellas with a unified theme (time). It was intriguing to see how each author wove her own tale based on this premise. The true variety of stories in Tick Tock were refreshing and kept me turning the pages! – Amazon Reviewer

This is such a great group of stories! It was interesting to start reading each one, and wonder how the element of time was going to be used in it. Each story had me hooked from the first page, and turning pages until I got to the last. There were a lot of unforeseen twists and turns in each story, and I enjoyed every minute of them. I can’t wait to see what this group of authors puts out next! – Amazon Reviewer

Seven Fantasy and Science Fiction authors have twisted time into tales of adventure, mystery, horror, and romance.

  • A serial killer returns years later to finish what was started.
  • A coffee shop offers a respite for the cursed.
  • A hangover masks the horrors of the previous night.
  • A princess’s wedding gift comes with a price.
  • A locked apartment door hides a chilling secret.
  • A girl wakes up in an asylum and must survive, and escape.
  • A young woman must protect the past to thwart a thief from the future.

All it takes is a second…a minute…an hour…for everything to change.

About Wicked Ink Books:

Wicked Ink Books consists of seven passionate writers who’d met at writing conferences, trainings, or other retreats over time. It was our love of the craft that drew us together, but respect for our individual accomplishments, and the unique strengths that we each brought to the group proved to be the glue that bound us together as friends.

It was about ten months ago that Wicked Ink Books was born in the mountains of Colorado while together for a writing retreat that offered three days of quiet, uninterrupted bliss. A chance to focus on our stories, leaving our significant others behind to deal with the offspring, house, and other pressures that constantly tear us away from our writing.

The retreat house was expansive, allowing each of us a private cubby or nook where we could escape into our stories via our laptops. Over snack breaks and meals, we compared notes on word count and chapter endings. Our giddiness at meeting goals was infectious. During drinks and dessert on our second night, the idea of doing an anthology came up. The more we mulled it over and discussed possibilities, it became clear that combining our expertise and various writing styles was an amazing opportunity. The ability to create something more than what we’d been able to accomplish individually up until then.

Now, less than a year later, we’ve turned those individual strengths into a wonderful collection of speculative fiction short stories in TICK TOCK: SEVEN TALES OF TIME. Our very first, hopefully of many, novels that will showcase our passion for storytelling.

We thank those of you who have traveled our path alongside us. For those of you who are discovering us for the first time, we hope you enjoy our collaboration and will come back for more in the years to come.
